HOW IT WORKS
During the treatment the heat energy restricts the melanin in the hair follicle, as a result that follicle cannot grow new hair.
WHAT TO EXPECT
During the procedure, there may be a slight 1-2 second, momentary tingling sensation that may be felt, but no pain. The treatments leave you with zero downtime.

SharpLight’s pulsed-light treatments are non-invasive and 100% safe. During the procedure, there may be a slight 1-2 second, momentary tingling sensation that may be felt, but no pain.
About 20-25% of human hair follicles on the body are in the active growth phase at any given time. This is the percentage of hair follicles that can be destroyed in a single treatment session. In order to eliminate almost 70% of the hair, treatments should be repeated until the desired result is achieved.
Immediately after the treatment the skin will feel smoother and softer. You can expect a follicular or perifollicular reaction, this is a normal response of the skin and it will reduce within the next 24 to 48 hrs after the treatment.
We recommend waiting 4 – 6 weeks in between each laser hair reduction treatment and after any waxing or plucking treatment to ensure optimal results.
The number required of treatment varies from person to person and is dependent on type of skin type, hair type, density, thickness and hair colour, underlying skin conditions and even the current health of the skin you are looking to improve.
